Live streaming
As early as 2005, we carried out our first live broadcast from Teaterskeppet, when a client wanted to stream an entire onboard conference to their other offices around the country. Since then, we have continuously invested in and expanded our live streaming capabilities.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference hall was redesigned to enable engaging hybrid meetings, with complete technical solutions for live-streaming panel discussions, presentations, and hybrid events.
Our core setup includes four cameras with an associated control room, allowing us to record or live-stream all or parts of a conference. We also support remote speakers joining via video link.
All equipment can be set up in other areas on board as well, such as on deck or in the large or small dining room.

3 live streaming tips
Make everyone visible!
A live-streamed conference can be challenging to deliver. Communication can easily become one-way, and it is difficult to read participants’ reactions—or even feel that they are truly present. We address this by adding an extra screen on stage showing live thumbnails of the remote participants (provided they have their cameras switched on). This creates a more dynamic audience and a real sense of “digital presence”.
This feature is available in most live-streaming platforms such as Teams and Zoom. If you are using other systems, we have creative solutions to ensure your digital audience is still part of the experience.
Teleprompter
Speak to your audience! Even if participants are not physically present, it is important that they feel a sense of connection with the speaker. That’s why we have installed a teleprompter on one of the cameras, allowing us to display either a prepared script or the current presentation. The speaker can look directly into the camera while reading the text or following the presentation—without it being noticeable on screen.
The text can be controlled by the speaker themselves or by a technician who adjusts the scrolling speed to match the speaker’s pace.
Hybrid meeting
Offices spread across the country? If gathering everyone in one place isn’t an option, a hybrid meeting can be the perfect solution. The conference is run like a traditional on-site event, with part of the audience joining remotely.
Everything is live-streamed using our equipment and is easy for participants to connect to.
To make remote attendees visible, we can use our side projections to display a live feed of the online participants, or add an extra screen on stage.
