Sustainability is a very important issue for us.

We constantly strive to ensure that our events on board are as gentle on the planet as possible. That’s why we choose locally sourced and organic products whenever possible. Our house wines, as well as the beer served with dinner, are also organic.

 

We create our menus according to the season and take great pride in continuously improving our work. In 2017, we received our first KRAV star, and in autumn 2018 we were awarded two (out of a maximum of three) KRAV stars for our sustainability focus and choice of ingredients.

 

In 2023, KRAV revised its certification levels, and we are currently certified at the basic level, with the ambition of reaching Bronze level—the first premium tier—during 2024.

 

We also want the vessel itself to take responsibility. That’s why we actively reduce unnecessary emissions by operating the ship in an environmentally conscious manner and applying a sustainability-focused approach throughout M/S Teaterskeppet. This work has earned us 4 out of 5 stars in the Clean Shipping Index (CSI).
